2016年5月17日下午3點(diǎn),澳大利亞科廷大學(xué)(Curtin University) Shaobin Wang (王少彬)教授受邀在beat365245會議室為我院師生作了題目為“Carbon-based nanomaterials as catalysts for catalytic reactions”的學(xué)術(shù)報(bào)告。本次報(bào)告會由beat365院長褚良銀教授主持。
首先,王少彬教授介紹了澳大利亞的地理分布情況,并簡單介紹了科廷大學(xué)的建校歷史以及今后的發(fā)展方向。在學(xué)術(shù)報(bào)告部分,王少彬教授從三部分進(jìn)行了報(bào)告,第一部分介紹了基于金屬及金屬氧化物催化氧化環(huán)境污染有機(jī)物;第二部分介紹了基于氮摻雜、硫摻雜、氮硫混合摻雜的石墨烯替代金屬離子實(shí)現(xiàn)單過硫酸根的催化反應(yīng)過程,最后一部分介紹了C3N4材料用于光催化反應(yīng)。報(bào)告結(jié)束,Shaobin Wang教授和現(xiàn)場師生進(jìn)行了熱烈交流,他耐心地回答了老師和同學(xué)們從金屬離子與碳材料在水處理領(lǐng)域的效果與應(yīng)用前景、工業(yè)化等多方面的問題,學(xué)術(shù)氣氛十分熱烈。
通過此次精彩的學(xué)術(shù)報(bào)告,化工師生們不僅深入了解了科廷大學(xué),也感受到西澳城市珀斯市(Perth)的風(fēng)土人情,并對石墨烯等碳材料的催化領(lǐng)域有了新的認(rèn)識和收獲,受益良多。
附王少彬(Shaobin Wang)教授情況簡介:
Prof. Wang obtained BSc and MSc from Peking University and PhD in Chemical Engineering from University of Queensland, Australia. He is now a Professor at Department of Chemical Engineering, Curtin University, Australia. His research interests focus on nanomaterial synthesis and application for adsorption and catalysis, fuel and energy conversion and environmental remediation. He has published more than 280 refereed journal papers and his paper citation was over 10000 with H-index =54. He was awarded 2012 Thomson Reuters Citation & Innovation Awards in Australia. He is an editorial board member of several international journals.
