研究方向及主要成就:
多年來一直致力于有機(jī)合成、有機(jī)合成方法學(xué)、藥用高分子材料等領(lǐng)域的研究工作,近年來在不對稱有機(jī)合成、核糖核酸和脫氧核糖核酸的合成、金屬有機(jī)化學(xué)、配位化學(xué)、晶體學(xué)、生物學(xué)等領(lǐng)域也有重要的研究成果,曾在《Nature》、《J. Am. Chem. Soc.》、《Chemistry & Biology》、《Molecular Microbiology》、《Chem. Eur. J.》、《Organic Letters》、《Organometallics》等上發(fā)表論文近百篇,引用次數(shù)超過1000次。并申請美國、歐洲專利六十項。
作為主要參加者在《Nature》雜志、作為共同第一作者在《Chemistry & Biology》雜志上發(fā)表了關(guān)于新型氨基酸吡咯賴氨酸的全合成與生物活性研究的文章,這兩篇文章被國際著名雜志和媒體廣泛報道。被譽(yù)為解決了近半個多世紀(jì)以來遺傳基因編碼中的一個難題并擴(kuò)展了遺傳基因編碼的規(guī)則。作為項目技術(shù)負(fù)責(zé)人承擔(dān)了加州大學(xué)重大科研項目和抗腫瘤藥物重大國際合作項目。2011年到四川大學(xué)從事制藥工程領(lǐng)域的研究與開發(fā)工作。主要從事抗腫瘤藥物的設(shè)計、合成、不對稱催化、手性識別、納米運(yùn)載體系和生物活性等領(lǐng)域的研究。
